FRED HAS PRACTISED CORPORATE AND COMMERCIAL LAW IN CALGARY SINCE BEING ADMITTED TO THE ALBERTA BAR IN 1979 AND HAS EXTENSIVE INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC EXPERIENCE.
Fred is a meticulous lawyer who ensures his clients are not only well-served but are served in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Fred's primary areas of practice include banking and finance, share and asset acquisitions, corporate reorganizations involving among other transactions, structuring and implementing long-term employee incentive plans, estate freezes and exit strategies for small business owners. He has represented energy services companies regarding corporate takeovers and drilling rig acquisitions in Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru and has structured and implemented sale and lease transactions for oil and gas service equipment in Australia and the United States.
Fred has participated in many seminars and given papers and presentations to various lending institutions and professional groups in respect of structuring, documenting and securing financial transactions.
Outside of work, Fred is most likely engaged in some sort of physical activity, including skiing, tennis, hiking and yoga. He is married and is the proud father of two adult sons. Fred, his wife Tallis, and their sons have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Mexico and Central America and they are looking forward to charting new territory in the future.
